Kinder-Funeral services for David Owen Watson, 62, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

David was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was devoted to taking care of his daughter, Sarah Jane. He enjoyed auto racing, machine work, and his community coffee. He loved listening to classic rock & roll. David was a simple man with a big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish David's memory include his two daughters, Melissa Spikes and Kieley Hawthorne; three sisters, Chris Baker, Connie Odom, and Myra Deshotel; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Anita Watson; spouse, Diane Watson; one son, Samuel Watson; one daughter, Sarah Jane Watson; and one sister, Lesia Watson.
