Kinder-Funeral services for David "Glen" Smith, 72, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Terry Bushnell will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4 p.m. until time of service.

Glen was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Deer hunting in Oklahoma was his passion. Glen enjoyed having family cookouts, riding backroads, listening to KBON and anything to do with guns from collecting, trading or even going to gun shows. More than anything, Glen cherished spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Glen's memory include his son, Jason Whetstine of Ragley; two daughters, Phoebe Westmoreland of Kinder and Lynette Robinson and husband, Garrique, of Livingston, TX; one brother, Gary Wayne Smith and wife, Angie, of Dry Creek; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nephew, Peelee Smith.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Dave Smith and Bonnie Nevils; one son, Kevin Smith; and one daughter, Brooke Caswell.
