Elton-A Celebration of Life for David Allen Goldsborough, 30, will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 8375 Highway 1 South in Alexandria, La 71302. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

David Allen Goldsborough of Austin, TX left this world on March 4, 2022 in Elton, La. David's love of life began on October 25, 1991. As he grew, so did his heart, smile and positive outlook on this crazy thing we call life. Optimistically determined…no matter what the challenge or request, he gave his all to ensure he exceeded every expectation whether for himself or others. When diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, he reminded us all that it was ShakeBake season!...looking for things to smile about, always finding the perfect moment to crack a joke, execute a prank, lend a hand and to fill the room with contagious laughter.

His heart, large with the love for family and friends, colored blue and silver with the passion for his Dallas Cowboys, not to have us forget his passionate love affair with food. Never without a Dr. Pepper to wash down all that Texas Pete!! He added to his romance with tacos, green beans, and Reece's with the addition of the many Cajun foods he was falling head or tummy for.

His contagious love of life has not ended with his passing; he will forever be connected with his many loved ones who will live their lives to their fullest carrying him in their hearts. Survived by mother, Cynthia Cionek (Robert Cionek), father, Joseph Goldsborough, Jr. (Cheryl Goldsborough) and fiancée, Brittany O'Blanc.

His laughter will be heard in that of the children, sons; Dawson Allen Goldsborough, Carson and Cole O'Blanc (stepsons); daughters, Emily Faye Goldsborough and Raylee O'Blanc (stepdaughter).

The ties that bind will forever remain with his brothers, Ricky Pyle, Joseph Goldsborough, Mason Goldsborough, Cameron and Bryce Ross (stepbrothers); along with his sister, Angela Anderson.

His smile will be seen in those of grandparents, Joseph Goldsborough, Sr., and Nancy Goldsborough.

He is now at peace and reunited with his brother, Clifton Pyle and grandparents, Clarence and Letha Lacy.

Now that David has found rest, let us hold him close within us, in our hearts, thoughts and spirits. Let us turn our sorrows into good deeds and may we always remember a kind deed done will bring him closer.

In an expression of his spirit, donations in his name are encouraged to be made to the Cancer Research Foundation.
