Elton- Funeral service for David T. Fontenot, 58, was held Wednesday, January 17, 2007 in St.Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Father Marshall Boulet officiated. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday from 5 p.m till 10 p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home in Elton, and continued from 8 am till the time of service. Mr. Fontenot passed away Monday, January 15, in Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. David "Mary" Fontenot of Elton; two daughters, Mrs. George "Katie" Dorr of Crowley, and Mrs. Jason "Kelly" Allen of Ada, OK; his mother Mrs. Joyce B. Langley of Elton; three sisters, Rita Colleen Fontenot of New Orleans, Barbara Fontenot Selman of Hathaway, and Jody McInnis of Shreveport, and one granddaughter,Margaret"Meg" Dorr.
