Kinder-Funeral service for David Earl Graham, 51, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder Monday, October 23, 2017, from 4-10 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
David had a heart of solid gold. He made friends with every single person he met. He was always just a phone call away. David had a love for his family, outdoors, his livestock, and mud riding unlike anything else. Most people didn't even know his first name. They knew him as "Big Dave" or "Poppa Christmas". He also served our country in the U.S. Marines. David will be truly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish David's memory include his daughter, Hunter Graham, of Lake Charles; his sister, Terry Perot and husband, Bubba, of TX; his stepfather, Gary Gaffield, and wife, Joni, of Concrete, WA; his stepson, Zach Perkins, of Olive Branch, MS; and six grandchildren, Maryann, Jace, Jamie, Blake, David and TJ.
David is preceded in death by his father , Arvis Graham and mother, Susan Gaffield; and son, Wyatt Graham.
