Basile- Visitation for Mr. Daniel Richard, 81, will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 at
St. Augustine Catholic Church from 10 AM to 12 noon followed with Mass officiated
by Father Bryan Taylor.
Visitation and graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Labadieville, La. at St. Philamena Catholic Church from 12 noon to 3 PM. Burial will
follow in St. Philamena Cemetery.
Mr. Daniel was a resident of Basile for the past 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Vizena Burge Richard of Basile; five children, Cherrl Simon of Lafitte, Donna Anderson and husband, Kenny of Ethridge, Tenn., Mark Richard and wife, Reginna of Brookeland, Tx., Eugene Burge and wife, Celeste of Basile, Patrick Brent Burge and wife, Cindy of Eunice; 17 grand children ,19 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Olivier Richard; sons, Wayne F. Richard and Joseph Burge.
