Kinder-Memorial Service celebrating the life of Daniel Claude Langley, 65, will be held at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1 p.m. Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at Liberty Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of service with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 12 noon.

Danny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a man of strong faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and absolutely loved to hunt and fish. Danny loved the outdoors and could be called a typical "mountain man". He never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone he met. Danny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Daniel's memory include his daughter, Alexis Langley of Lake Charles; one grandson, Carden Levi Cunningham; wife, Cathy Langley of Lake Charles; three sisters, Phyllis Doise and husband, Danny, of Lafayette, Debbie Duplichan and husband, Reggie, of Kinder and Karen Noe of Jennings; and one brother, Bruce Langley and wife, Carol, of Moss Bluff.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Langley and Nettie Robertson; and one brother, Randall James Langley.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff and doctors at MD Anderson for all of their care, compassion and kindness they have shown to Daniel and his family.
