Dalton, known by many as "Coach", was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He was married to his wife, Vivian, for over 62 years.  Together they raised their family in Oberlin where Dalton was known for the excellent work he did over the years as a very skilled tile setter.  He was a lifelong Catholic.  He was a giving man who was always willing to help anyone in need.  Dalton was an avid baseball fan who coached countless young people for over 23 years with the Dixie Youth League in Oberlin.  He was a kind, respected and "winning" coach.  In addition to baseball, he enjoyed watching various sports, was a lifelong Oberlin Tiger fan, enjoyed gardening and loved listening to his favorite music on KBON 101.1 radio.  He frequented the livestock shows and enjoyed being outdoors.  Most of all, he adored his family-especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dalton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Dalton's memory include his devoted wife, Vivian B. LeBlanc of Kinder; one son, Brent David LeBlanc and wife, Renee of Kinder; four daughters, Christine Dupont and husband, Eugene of Evangeline, Cheryl Lantron of Kinder, Sheila Manuel and husband, Marty of Oberlin, and Rose Thiels and husband, Dustin of Gonzales; one brother, Wallace LeBlanc, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of Crowley; five sisters, Betty (Herman) Crochet of Lake Charles, Joyce Cormier of Crowley, Elaine (Vince) Daigle of Evangeline, Linda Veronie of Crowley, and Bonnie Bertrand of Estherwood; 12 grandchildren-Brandon (Amy) Dupont and Jerod Dupont, Cody (Mary) Lantron and Sadie Lantron, Lori (Blake) Grundy, David and Quentin LeBlanc, Kyle and Tiffany Manuel, Hayley (Dillon) Fontenot and Alexis (Mikey) Hebert, and Hayden (known by Pawpaw as "Haygen") O'Connor, Declan, Renner and Harlow Thiels; 15 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Dalton is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Eva (Smith) LeBlanc, Sr.; and one son, Tony Lee LeBlanc.
