Oberlin-Funeral service for Dallas Chantell Courville, 24, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Allen Parish Funeral Home. Rev. Francis Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 119 S. 7th Street, Oberlin from 5-10 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday from 8 a.m. until time of service. The Rosary will also be prayed at 1 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.
Dallas was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece. She was free-spirited and loved spending time with her family. Dallas lived life to the fullest and could change the atmosphere when she walked into a room. She was very caring for her brothers and, especially, loved her nieces, Elliana and Sophie. Dallas always put others first. She loved music, Mardi Gras, and Halloween, as well as playing football with her brothers and wearing her mom's clothes. She especially loved her "country king", Roman Lopez. Dallas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Dallas' memory include her parents, Darrin and Pamela Rea Courville of Oberlin; four brothers, Dakota Courville and wife, Lexi, of Kinder, Destiny Courville and fiancée, Brittany, of Oberlin, Freedom Courville and Dominic Courville, both of Oberlin; and her maternal grandmother, Mary Virginia Aguillard Rea of Oberlin, who nicknamed Dallas, her first grandchild, BiBi.
Dallas is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roger L. Rea, Lovenia Courville and Julius Courville.
