Kinder-Dale L. Lavergne, 54, entered eternal rest on March 12, 2023, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held April 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Club Hi-Rollers in Kinder.  Everyone is invited to attend.

Dale was a man of his word. He loved his fiancé, children, family, friends, and most of all, his grandchildren. He was a bartender as well as a professional gambler and he loved both very much. It is easy to say he loved deeply and lived his life to the fullest every day. By the end of his life, he had accomplished the main goals that he had set for himself. He was a "one of a kind" man. For each one that knew Dale, they truly knew him. He will forever be loved and live on in their hearts.

Dale is survived by his fiancée, Tabitha Lee of Kinder; his life partner, Leola Kinchen of Kinder; two daughters, Cynthia Phillips(Terry Ardoin) of Elton and Sada Lee (Darius Ramey) of Lake Charles; his nephew, Kameron Varns (Haley Chandler) of Texas; two brothers, Donovan Lavergne (Lexie Motley) of Texas, Zach Lavergne and wife, April of Texas; two sisters, Debbie Lavergne and Dana Lavergne, both of Texas; 5 grandchildren;  2 godchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his mom, Pamela Varnado; and his dad, Donald L. Lavergne.
