It is with heavy hearts; we announce the passing of our beloved baby girl, Dakota Banx Ardoin. She was born on July 16, 2024, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to her loving parents Rani Ardoin and Triston Vidrine. Jesus took her up into his loving hands, on September 4, 2024, where she joined him in Heaven after passing away at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, Louisiana. Banx was such a social little girl, so much so that Jesus allowed her to grace this earth for only a short time to bring an astounding amount of joy and love to so many around her. Her beauty and cuddles lit up the world, and her mere presence or the touch of her little fingers captured the hearts of those who were lucky enough to hold her. Her curiosity of the world around her was captivating and her little smile healed the most broken of hearts. She was especially fond of visiting her "Popi" and "Mim's" who spoiled her to bits. However, Jesus granted the gift of baby Banx's love for only a short time, allowing her to place her stamp of love on the hearts of her family who needed it. He then decided that it was time for baby Banx to return home to his arms and wait happily upon her family to join her one day. Though the loss of this beautiful baby causes an almost inconsolable heartache to all who knew her, the fact that she is surrounded by the love of Jesus and cherished by those who went before her brings comfort until her family meets her again one day. Until then, she waits patiently watching over them all.
Those left to cherish Baby Banx's memory include her parents Rani Ardoin and Triston Vidrine of Pine Prairie, LA; two sisters, Isabella "Bella" Vidrine and Aspen Sage Ardoin, three
brothers, Mayson Vidrine, and Luka Kai, and Roman Rae Ardoin; her grandparents, Gerald and Becky Nelson of Pine Prairie, LA, and Derick and Amy Vidrine of Texas, one great grandfather, Mack King and wife Brenda of Lake Cove; a host of aunts and uncles, including Jordan and Lacie Vidrine of Pine Prairie, LA, Laine Elliott and fiancé Taylor Clement of Pine Prairie, LA, Eliana "Ellie" Elliott of Pine Prairie, LA and Emily Vidrine of Kinder, LA; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She will be greeted in Heaven by her loved ones that went before her, including one great aunt Jessica Marlena King; and her great grandmother, Sherry Ann King.
Pallbearers honored to serve are her uncle, "Bubba" Laine Elliott, and Mason West. Honorary pallbearers honored to serve are her "Popi", Gerald Nelson and her brother, Mayson Vidrine.
Condolences and words of comfort may be shared with Banx's family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com or on Facebook at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
