Curtis, affectionately known as "Chief" was a loving son, husband, father, Owa, brother, uncle and friend to all. He was a  devoted husband to his wife, Patsy, for forty-two years. Curtis loved participating in pow-wows, as well as watching his children and grandchildren dance and compete. Curtis was a member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and of the Bobcat Clan. He dearly adored his family and absolutely loved spending time with them. HE LOVED LSU FOOTBALL! Curtis loved to cook and his family says he made the best chili. He worked very hard to provide for his family as a Supervisor at the Coushatta Mower Shop. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and nature. In his early years, Curtis was well-known for his position on his highschool football team as #61 where he played as linebacker & was awarded All-District Player with other distinctive recognitions. Curtis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
