Elton-Funeral service for Craig Joseph Thibodeaux, 54, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 5-8 p.m.
at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Craig was a native of Elton and resident of Scott. For the past eight years, he was employed as a rig supervisor with Moncla Marine Service. He enjoyed the outdoors. Craig was a very giving person who touched many lives. He cherished his N.A. support group "family." Craig will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Craig's memory include his mother, Annette McGee Thibodeaux of Jennings; one son, Trent Michael Lavergne of Iota; one brother, James "J.B." Thibodeaux and wife, Theresa of Jennings; one sister, Julie Richard of Estherwood; four nieces and nephews-Lana Beth Thibodeaux, Lance Thibodeaux and wife, Hunter, Chance and Jordan Richard; and one great niece, Maryann Thibodeaux.
Craig is preceded in death by his father, Raymond "Toby" Thibodeaux.
