Kinder-Funeral services for Courtney Shea Klein, 44, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 4-9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Courtney was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all. She was currently a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her boys in anything they were involved in. She loved the outdoors and volunteering for boy scouts. Courtney was a teacher's aide for a period where she enjoyed helping special needs children. She was a fun, comical and outgoing person who never met a stranger; always talking to everyone she came into contact with. She was a beautiful person who was very kind, caring and was exceptionally giving of her time or belongings. Courtney was an avid supporter of the Diabetes Association. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Courtney's memory include her three sons, Bailey Rice and fiancée, Aurora, of Lake Charles, Jayce Rice of Kinder and Kirby James Rice of Kinder; father, James Klein of Kinder; two sisters, Kristin Klein of Kinder and Nicole Fontenot and husband, Cory, of Kinder; one brother, Kyle Klein of Eunice; maternal grandmother, Rosa Lea Brown; four nieces, Alyssa Richard, Lani Thompson, Quinn Klein and Rowe Klein; three nephews, Zachary Thompson, Colin Klein and Braden Fontenot; as well as many loving friends.

Courtney is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Davis; maternal grandfather, Nicholas Brown and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Klein.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at JD Bank in Kinder in Courtney's memory.
