Sugar was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and friend. She was a graduate and big fan of Barbe High. She completed her high school career in 1981 as a track star and diligent student. From 1987 to 1990 she resided in Albuquerque, NM and completed some college. She did administrative work for the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana. As a tribal member, she was very proud and connected with her heritage and culture. Out of the seven clans of the Coushatta Tribe, Sugar belonged to the Turkey (Fito) clan. She was a spiritual, charismatic and daring woman. Her character was the perfect mixture of love and light. Sugar's passions were listening to music, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a woman of class and taste. Her life-long dream was to be a pilot. Sugar had the opportunity to achieve just that. Confidently and courageously, she's flown with the aid of her instructor. The love for her children was above all personal interests. She was a woman of God and a beautiful friend. Her loyalty to her two best friends extended well over fifty years. Sugar will be incredibly missed.

Those left to cherish Sugar's memory include her three daughters, Kristin Ivory-Morris of Deridder, Kelsey Isaac of Elton, and Kanada Isaac and wife, Emerald Skye, of Gilbert, AZ; two life-long sisters and best friends, Kathy Schlesinger of Mansfield, TX and Kim Fontenot of Grand Lake; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Titan and Amelia.

Sugar is preceded in death by her parents, Wilda and Calvin Fuselier and S.H. LaFleur; daughter, Kennedy Isaac; and brother, Russell Vincent.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the first responders, Cameron Parish Sheriff's Department, Cameron Parish coroner, Kevin Dupke and the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana for the services they have provided during this time and for all they have done for their community over the years.
