Colin Daryl Reeves of Reeves passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in a Houston hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born on July 1, 1973, in Lake Charles to Wayne and Jane Reeves. Colin was a lifelong resident of Reeves where he attended Reeves High School and recently moved to Moss Bluff with his family. Colin worked as an inspector for many years in various cities and states, where he made lifelong relationships with friends. He was very passionate about life, and family was everything to him. He was always planning trips, small and large, with his family, who he adored. But most of the time on his days off you could find him on his boat with a fishing pole in his hand. When asked by his wife "what do you want to do today?" his favorite thing to say was "I don't care as long as I spend it with you". Colin had a huge heart and has helped many people over the years. He would do anything for anyone and always put others first; he was truly one of a kind. He was a godly man that lived for Jesus and witnessed to anyone that would listen. Colin loved to tell others his testimony about where he once was and how God delivered him and made him a new man in Christ. He attended WRC Church in Moss Bluff. His wife and boys meant the world to him, and he lived to make them happy. He dearly loved his nieces and nephews and spoiled them rotten. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and friend to all. Colin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Colin's memory include his wife Crystal; three sons, Dayton Chapman, Kristopher Reeves, and Jacob LeJeune all of Ragley; three brothers, Gary Reeves and wife, Ann, of Hico, TX, Philip (T-Bo) Reeves and wife, Donna, of Reeves, and Darrin Reeves and wife, Tara, of Sulphur; two sisters, Susannah Bourque and husband, John, of Moss Bluff, and Meagan Phillips of Reeves; two brother-in-laws, T.J. Eskind of Ragley; and Anthony Harst and wife, Sherri, of Ragley; one sister-in-law, Stephanie LeDoux and husband, Randy, of Grand Lake; twenty-two nephews, four nieces, three great nephews, and five great nieces.
Colin is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Jane Reeves.
