Oakdale-A private graveside home-going celebration for Clyde Ellis Buxton, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Chaplain Jeffrey White will officiate.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Clyde was called to his heavenly home on September 12, 2021 in Pineville, Louisiana.  Clyde was raised by his surrogate mother, Ansavelia Buxton Willis.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his caretaker, Odessa Willis House; his special cousins, Virginia Willis Caraway and Pauline Willis Bradford; as well as many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by his biological father, Lloyd Buxton; his surrogate mother, Ansavelia Buxton Willis; his brothers, Lloyd Herschel and James Louis; and his sisters, Helen and Patsy.
