Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Clifton H. Shuff, 86, will be Tuesday, March 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. and will continue Tuesday from 8 a.m. till the time of service.
Mr. Shuff was a resident of Elton. He passed away Saturday in his home after battling a long illness.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Pearl Shuff, one son Donald J. Shuff of Elton, six daughters, Judy Steckler and Marie Jacquet of Biloxi, MS, Loris Walker of Jacksonville, FL, and Doris Martin, Jane Chavira and Jeanette Gonzales all of Elton, two brothers, Oscar Shuff of Elton, and King Shuff of Columbus, AL, one sister, Zella Fruge of Elton, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Mr. Shuff was preceded in death by his parents, D.J. and Norma Shuff, his sister Ruby Bilsky and two brothers, Lloyd and Jessie Shuff.
