Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Clayton Joseph Fontenot, Sr., 72, will be Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev Dori Langley will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM and will continue on Monday from 7 AM until time of service.
Mr. Fontenot was a resident of Elton. He passed away Saturday in Lake Charles. He is survived by his wife, Vern Ella "Nell" Fontenot; four sons, Clayton Fontenot Jr. of Walker, Robert Fontenot of Elton, Steve Fontenot of Elton, and William "Bill" Molnar of San Antonio, TX; three daughters, Sheila Jones of Floresville, TX, Katherine Johnson of Durald, and Famie Manuel of Eunice; two brothers, Burley Fontenot of Iowa, and Andrew Fontenot of Oberlin; one sister, Grace Manuel of LeBleu Settlement; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
