Dry Creek-A Celebration of Life service for Clara Jackson, 72, will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 1 o'clock p.m. at Dry Creek Bible Church. Rev. Sam Burchard will officiate. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Clara's family will receive visitors at Dry Creek Bible Church on Wednesday morning from 10 o'clock a.m. until time of service.

Clara was a very sweet, kind and caring person who loved to laugh. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Samuel for 32 years. She was a loving and affectionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Clara adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was a devoted Christian and very passionate about her church, her church family, and her relationship with Christ. Clara was a very giving person and loved to care for others. She served others through the years as a beautician, a certified nursing assistant, and a dental assistant. In Clara's well-deserved retirement years, she loved to visit with her family, work on puzzles, shopping and fishing with her husband. Clara will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Clara's memory include her husband, Samuel K. Jackson of Dry Creek; her two daughters, Angel McLeod of Dry Creek and Trinita Osborne of Onley, Illinois; one son, Payton Osborne and fiancée, Karen of Ragley; one sister, Toni Hebert and husband, Clyde of Chauvin; six grandchildren-Justin McLeod, Nicholas Fragale, Jessica Donavan and husband, Robert, Jasmine Osborne, Katlyn Toney and Jewel Snyder; one great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Fragale; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Clara is preceded in death by her first husband, Payton H. Osborne; her parents, Offilio and Adeline Deogracias; her identical twin sister, Claire Deogracias; two brothers, Hank and Ricky Deogracias; and one nephew, Ricky Deogracias, Jr.
