Cheryl was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted and faithful wife to her husband Alan for 35 years. Cheryl was a hobbyist and enjoyed collecting rocks. She would then use these beautiful rocks to make stunning jewelry and art. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling and seeing the country alongside her husband. She also loved to ride "the motorcycle" with her husband in which she made many wonderful memories that she dearly cherished. Cheryl also enjoyed reading and gardening as just a couple of her pass times. She was a wonderful homemaker and immensely enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. While she lived in California, Cheryl would always throw a large Mardi-Gras party for all her friends. Cheryl loved and adored her family and cherished every moment that she got to spend with them.  Cheryl worked as a Deputy for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office for 10 plus years where she made many lifelong friends, some whom she came to know and love very much. Cheryl will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Cheryl's memory include her husband, Alan A. Kuentz of Moss Bluff; one son, Alan A. Kuentz of Oroville, CA; three daughters, Dana M. Tramonte and husband Anthony of Lake Charles, Carrie Kuentz of Magalia, CA, and Erika Whatley of Mesa, AZ; one brother Gary Moyer and wife Brenda of Indian Village; three grandchildren, Angelina Tramonte - Doucet, Anthony Tramonte Jr., and Amelia Kuentz; and three great-grandchildren, Rivers Tramonte and Ophelia and Anders Doucet.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Marie Moyer and one brother Everett "Sonny" Wells Jr.
