Kinder-Funeral Services for Charlotte Marie Taylor, 71, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother and sister. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Timothy, for fifty years. She enjoyed gardening, raising chickens and cows and decorating for the holidays. Charlotte loved the outdoors and her cat, Toby. She cherished spending time with her family and being home. Her son, Michael, says she made the best cornbread. She was very kind-hearted and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Charlotte's memory include her husband, Timothy Taylor, Sr. of Kinder; two sons, Timothy Taylor, Jr. of Westlake and Michael Taylor of Reeves; and two brothers, Charles Johnson of Port Orchard, WA and Dennis Johnson and wife, Michelle, of Gig Harbor.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Vernal and Jane Johnson; and one sister, Anne Benedict.
