Kinder- Funeral Mass for Mr. Charles Ray Manuel, 59, will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Monday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 4pm-10pm with a rosary at 7pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Manuel was a resident of Kinder. He was a member of ST. Philip Neri Catholic Church and a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army. He also loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Manuel passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Scott Manuel & Kevin James Manuel both of Eunice; one daughter, Stephanie Manuel Ware of Kinder; mother, Anna Manuel of Kinder; one sister, Carmel Young & husband Richard Young of Oberlin; 7 grandchildren.
Mr. Manuel is preceded in death by his father, Octave Manuel.
