Charles Bryant Kountz II

Charles Bryant Kountz II, 51, of Youngsville, Louisiana passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on October 12, 1974, in Kinder, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Charles Bryant Kountz and Diane Kountz of Youngsville. He was known as “Bubba” to friends and family.

Charles graduated from Lafayette High School and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Southern Utah University. He was married to Kayla Primeaux Kountz with whom he shared a health and wellness business, Aromatic Infusions, in Youngsville.

Charles possessed a quick-witted sense of humor and a love of travel. His passion for providing people with handcrafted healing products will be remembered by those who greatly benefited from his expertise in creating healing and medicinal oils dedicated to the comforting and the healing of the sick.

He is survived by his wife, Kayla; his children, Kaitlyn, Karlie and Charlie; his mother, Diane and his sisters, Vicki (Duane) Waihi, Jill (JB) Prudhomme and Kari (Eric) Smith and his many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father, Bryant; and his grandparents, Carroll and Lucille Kuntz and T.T. and Stella Nixon.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Our Savior’s Church Lafayette Campus at 1201 E. Broussard Rd. with Visitation starting at 11am and Services at 11:30am in the Theatre Venue.
