Kinder-Funeral Services for Charles Larry Bruce, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Reeves Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow at Creel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder from 6-9 p.m. Visitation will resume at Reeves Baptist Church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service. ***Please note, due to state mandates, a face covering is required inside and social distancing must be maintained throughout your visit. ***
Charles was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Reeves Baptist Church for the past five years. He enjoyed being on the road, reading western books by Louis Lamour, eating and fellowship. Charles also loved watching westerns, basketball and rodeo. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Charles' memory include his father, Charles Perry Bruce and wife Sharon, of Reeves; two sons, Glen Bruce and wife, Nicole, of Reeves and Michael Bruce of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Amanda Bruce of Longview, TX; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Bruce; and two brothers, Russell Gary Bruce and Jeffery Ralph Bruce.
