Kinder-Memorial Service celebrating the life of Charlene Materne Cramer, 51, will be held at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 12 noon until time of service.

Charlene was a lifelong resident of Kinder. She worked as a baker for many years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren and loved preparing meals for family gatherings. Charlene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Charlene's memory include her mother, Nelda John; son, Christopher Griffin; sister, Sheila Materne; and eight grandchildren.

Charlene is preceded in death by her father, Terry Materne; son, Derrick Griffin; and daughter, Desiree Griffin.
