Kinder-Funeral service for Chad Joseph Marcantel, 35, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Terry Bushnell will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery of Hecker under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Chad was a loving son and father. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also loved cooking, gardening and riding four wheelers. Chad cherished the time spent with his family. He was quite a "comedian"-he loved to pick and play. He also enjoyed his time spent with his horse, Snowball. Anyone who knew Chad, knew Snowball. Chad will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Chad's memory include his parents, Joe Marcantel and Abby Marcantel, both of Kinder; two sons, Tyler Bourque and Daven Marcantel, both of Kinder; his stepmother, Verla Marcantel, of Kinder; his maternal grandmother, Agnes Miller of Kinder; one brother, Colin Marcantel of East Bernard, TX; and one sister, Paige Marcantel of East Bernard, TX.
Chad is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Miller; and his paternal grandparents, Elvin and Bonnie Marcantel.
