Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Carroll I. Kuntz, 90, will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Kinder Bible Church. Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home Tuesday from 5pm-9pm and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Kuntz was a native and resident of Kinder, was a retired rice & soybean farmer & cattleman, member of Kinder Bible Church, past president of Allen Parish Cattleman's Association, and a member of Kinder Rotary Club. He attended college at UL in Lafayette and Texas A&M where he was a member of the swim team. Mr. Kuntz passed away Monday, September 29, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, John Carroll Kuntz & wife Gayle of Orlando, FL, Gene R. Kuntz & wife Susan of Lake Charles, Charles B. Kountz & wife Diane of Lafayette; two daughters, Suzanne Tipton & husband Gregg of Franklin, TN, Monique Marcantel & husband Bernard of Kinder; three sisters, Wanda Kuntz Johnson, Mary Louis Kuntz Livingston, & Ruth Kuntz Unkel all of Kinder; 16 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille DeRosier Kuntz & parents, Charlie & Freda Kuntz.
