Elton-Funeral service for Carrie Rider Fulton, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service
Carrie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to her husband Bill for 42 years until his passing in 2001. Carrie liked watching T.V., listening to Christian music, and enjoyed going to the beauty shop. She loved visiting with her friends and especially loved spending time with her family. Carrie was a woman of strong faith and loved attending church. She loved to laugh and was a very joyful person. Carrie was a great cook. She made the best fish court bullion. Carrie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Carrie's memory include her daughter, Brenda Romero and husband, Brennus, of Elton; and one grandchild, Will Romero.
Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, Olezia and Elda Rider; her husband Rodney "Bill" Fulton; two brothers, Jim Rider and Oacie Monk; five sisters, Essie Byrd, Eva Fontenot, Adia Nacquin, Eula Mae Fontenot, and Hazel Hodnett.
