Kinder-Funeral service for Carolyn Dale Touchet, 56, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015, in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 3-9 p.m. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Carolyn was a loving mother to her two wonderful boys and was a loving grandmother. She was a devoted wife of 39 years to her husband, Murphy, prior to his passing away in 2008. She loved her dog and loved to watch soap operas. Carolyn was always a very serious and honest person who always voiced her opinion. Carolyn will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Carolyn's memory include her two sons, Kyle Touchet and wife, Heather, of Kinder and Rusty Touchet and husband, Gabriel Graham, of Iowa; three brothers, Jerry Duplichan and wife, Melody, of Ragley, Mike Duplichan and Joseph Duplichan, Jr, both of Kinder; four sisters, Debra Sharp and husband, Arthur, of DeQuincy, Vickie England and husband, Greg, Shelia LeJeune and husband, Punkin, and Marilyn Windham and husband, Jerry, all of Kinder; four grandchildren – Jack Tre', Isaac Josef, Jordyn Brie, and Aaden Kye.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Murphy "Kye" Touchet; her parents, Joseph and Rena Duplichan; and one brother, Danny Duplichan.
