All of Carl's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Carl was a loving husband, father, and pawpaw. He enjoyed riding his tractor, telling stories, hunting, and tending his garden. He also loved working in the woods on the dozer where he would make roads for log trucks to use while logging. Most of all spending time with his family, Carl loved and adored his family and cherished every moment he spent with them.  Carl enjoyed going to church and worshiping the Lord. He never met a stranger, to know Carl was to love Carl. Those that knew Carl knew that he gave everyone a nickname.

Those left to cherish Carl's memory include his wife Brenda Coker McBride; four sons, Terry McBride and wife Kim, Carl McBride Jr. and wife Becky, Kevin McBride and wife Christa, and Eric McBride and wife Andrea; one daughter, Tanya Dempsey and husband Brian; two adopted daughters, Judy Mormand and husband John and Debbie Rowles; ten grandchildren Terry McBride Jr, Roxanne Crosby, Madison McBride, Brianna Fraelich, Alyssa Buker, and Kevin Jr., Karis, Hosanna, Judah and Evangeline McBride; and four great grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Leo McBride, and Mary Ellen Laird; his stepfather, Luther Laird; three brothers, James, Walter, and Bill McBride; and two sisters, Elaine Perkins, and Irene Riggleman.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Kevin McBride Jr., Chris Johnson, Brian Dempsey, Billy and Hunter McBride, and John Mormand.

Honorary pallbearers honored to serve are Wayne Laird, Judah McBride, Jedidiah Fraelich and John Coker.
