Kinder-Homegoing Services for Carl J. Langley, 73, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 528 8 ^th St. in Kinder. Rev. Jimmy White will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of service. ***Please note, due to state mandates, a face covering is required inside and social distancing must be maintained throughout your visit. ***

Carl was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend to many. He was devoted to his relationship with God and was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. He was a man of strong faith. Before retirement, Carl worked very hard as a professional truck driver to help provide for his family. He dearly adored his two cats, Smokie and Tiger. He enjoyed reading his Bible, praying, going to church, squirrel hunting, fishing and working on cars. Most of all, Carl enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Carl's memory include his former wife, Elizabeth Middleton and husband, Wayne, of Orange, TX; two sons, Walter Langley and wife, Judy and Shannon Langley, both of Orange, TX; one daughter, Angela Hodge and husband, James, of Orange, TX; one brother, Charlie Langley and wife, Crystal, of Dequincy; three sisters, Rose McKissack of Huntsville, AL, Windola Cowart and husband, Mike, of Kinder and Sharon Lanthier and husband, Dennis, of Sulphur; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his father, Wilfred and wife, Lanelle Langley; mother, Shirley Langley; one son, Richard Martin Langley; one brother, Roland Langley; and one sister, Helena Blanchette.
