Obituary
Elton-Funeral service for Mr. Canny Reed, 92, will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Brother Don Duplechain will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will begin on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 1-9 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton and will continue on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Survivors include his three daughters, Rita Lafleur of Elton, Peggy Lafleur and husband, Eddie of Buna, TX, and Wanda Hebert of Oberlin; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Canny is preceded in death by his wife, Elma Lafosse Reed; his parents, Lea and Odius Reed; and his son, Ray Stroder.
