Oakdale-Celebration of life services honoring Camron Dean Hensley, 53, will be held at 3 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Oakdale. Rev. Tony Robinson will officiate.

Camron's family will receive friends and visitors at Cornerstone Baptist Church of Oakdale on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 11 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Camron's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Camron also called "Too Tall" was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.  He was a graduate of Forest Hill Academy in 1991 and joined the Army and proudly served during Desert Storm.

Camron worked hard to provide for his family as a mechanic, there was nothing he wouldn't do to help anyone especially his wife.

Camron accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior on October 6, 2024, when he was baptized at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Oakdale, La.

His sister, Heather is fighting breast cancer and in support of her he died his hair pink, that was just the kind of man he was.

"Too Tall" had a huge influence on his son's life, installing his love of mechanics in them. His daughter Jolene was the light of his world.

Those left to cherish Camron's memory include his wife, Heather Hensley of Oakdale; three sons, Keith and Haley Gassiott of Glenmora, Eli Cloud of Oakdale, and Gaige Johnson of Oakdale; daughter, Jolene Hensley of Oakdale; mom, Kay Dubrock of Oakdale; two sisters, Rhonda Rice of Glenmora, and Heather and David Poss of Groves, Tx.; three grandchildren, Colby, Morgan, Elijah of Glenmora; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Camron is preceded in death by his father, Paul Hensley; mother-in-law, Debra Cloud; Grandparents, Nanny and Pawpaw Dubrock, and Eli Strother; uncle, Hobby Dubrock
