Kinder-Funeral Services for Calvin Thibodeaux, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John Nichols and Rev. Jerry Long will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Calvin was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Sandra, for thirty-nine years. Calvin was very proud of his faith in God. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. Calvin made the best gumbo and he knew it. He always said his gumbo was better than anyone else's. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Calvin's memory include his wife, Sandra Thibodeaux of Kinder; one brother, Roy Thibodeaux and wife, Rose, of Kinder; and one sister, Marie Libick and husband, Ronnie, of Deridder.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, Moise and Alma Thibodeaux; three brothers, Roger, Moise, Jr., and Norton Thibodeaux; and one sister, Alice Langley.
