Obituary

Elton-Funeral service for Mr. Calvin Fuselier, 72, will be held Friday, January
11, 2013 at 11am in Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Elton. Brother Marian Davis will
officiate and burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin
Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Elton beginning Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 11-9pm and will continue on Friday from 8am until time of service.
Mr. Calvin served our country in the U.S. Marines. He retired with the La. State
Highway Dept. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 318. He served as Commander enjoying his friends at "The Hut" playing cards and visiting friends. He was a loving dad and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing,
and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his life-long campanion, Wilda J. Fuselier; one son, Carl
Glenn Fuselier of Kaplan; three daughters, Rose Deshotel and husband John of Basile,
Vickie Lennon and husband Brian of Ovieda, FL, Connie Isaac of Elton; two brothers,
Warren Fuselier and wife Rita of Hickory, NC, Chester Fuselier and wife Sylvia of
Pleasanton, TX; two sisters, Betty Beglis of Lake Charles, Ella Wood and husband
Donald of Topsy; eleven grandchildren, Marcus, Brittany, Katherine, Dylan, Dustin,
Kristin, Hope, Kennedy, Kelsey, Kanada, Emily; and one great grandchild, Sarah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lanful and Marcelite Fuselier; one son,
Jimmy Fuselier; one grandson, Tyler Fuselier; one brother, Preston Fuselier; and one
sister, Jessie Faye Fuselier.
