Bufford was a lifelong resident of Oberlin. He was an all-around hardworking man. He was a retired carpenter having built many homes over the years as well as beautiful cabinetwork and furniture. He had a love for horses in his younger years and loved dancing to French music. Bufford had a "green thumb" and enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with everyone. He also enjoyed cooking. He was a very sentimental man who deeply loved his family. He also had a special fondness for his step-grandson, Caleb. Bufford will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched.
