Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Bonnie Marcantel, 66, will be Tuesday, December 12, 2007 at 2 PM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Visitation will begin on Monday at 4 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder and will remain open all night. There will be a Vigil at 6 PM followed by a rosary. Interment will be in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.

Mrs. Marcantel was a native of Kinder. She died Friday in her residence with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Marcantel. She is survived by her sons; Joseph Marcantel and wife Michelle of East Bernard, TX, Kenny Marcantel and wife Theda, Shayne Marcantel and wife Theresa, and Raymond Marcantel and wife Melissa, all of Kinder; four daughters; Peggy Ogea and husband Ronald, Bernadine Chapman and husband John, Grace Marcantel and Veronica Marcantel; three brothers; Hubert and wife Grace Ann of Lake Charles, Hebert and wife Marline of Rayne, John and wife Faye of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Kathy Bellon and Rachell Mogged and husband Todd both of Lake Charles; 28 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
