ELTON-Funeral service for Bonnie Chretien, 56, will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in Chretien Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.

Bonnie attended St. Joseph and St. Paul Catholic Churches. She worked at Spot's Corner in Elton. Her love of her life was her son, Gregory. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Gregory Chretien of Elton; two brothers, Walter Chretien and wife, Cindy of Chicago, IL and Ernest Chretien of Elton; two sisters, Annie Chretien of Elton and Terry Latigue and husband, John of DeRidder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Eleanor Chretien.
