Kinder-Bonnie Lou Bradley, 72, of Reeves, Louisiana passed away on December 1, 2012 in a Lafayette hospital due to complications resulting from her battle with liver cancer.
Bonnie was born in Pitkin, Louisiana on August 23, 1940 to the late Willie and Azzalee Gilley. She was a graduate of Reeves High School.
Bonnie was a beloved wife, mom, sister and friend. She loved to help and do for others. She volunteered her services at the Kinder nursing home for many years where she washed and styled hair for the elderly. She was a Red Hat Lady and a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church where she sang in the choir. But most of all, Bonnie loved to be at home cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Norman Bradley of Reeves; her son, Shane Bradley and wife, Gina of League City, Texas: her daughter, Cyndy Manuel and husband, Charles of Moss Bluff; three brothers, Gene, John and Donnie Gilley, all of Reeves; one sister, Juanita Jackson of Reeves; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder beginning on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 2-10pm. Visitation will continue the following morning, December 4, 2012, at Indian Village Pentecostal Church from 9am until time of service. The service will begin at Indian Village Pentecostal Church at 11am with Rev. Michael Bonds and Rev. Terry Bushnell co-officiating. Burial will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
