Oberlin-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bobby Prejean, Jr. announce his passing on his birthday, March 8, 2014. Funeral service for Mr. Prejean will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob S. Conner will officiate. Burial will follow in Oberlin Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home-Oberlin Chapel.
Visitation will begin Monday, March 10, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 119 S. 7th Street. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Bobby was a lifelong resident of Oberlin and member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. He was a crane operator for over 35 years. He enjoyed music, driving and visiting with family and friends. He was a loving dad and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving daughter, Halie Prejean of Oberlin; two sisters, Anna Kite and husband, Danny of Kingwood, TX and Theresa Prejean of Lake Charles; and one grandson, Max Manuel of Oberlin.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Prejean, Sr.
