Obituary
Oberlin- Funeral Mass for Ms. Blanche Fontenot, 96, will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin. Father Michael Barras will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Elton.
Visitation will be held in New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Oberlin Friday from 6pm-10pm with a scripture service at 6:30 and a rosary to follow. Visitation will continue Saturday at 8am until time of service.
Ms. Fontenot was a resident of Oberlin. She passed away Friday, August 22, 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Maeola Granger of Plaquemine; brother, J.C. Fontenot of Oberlin; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
