Kinder-A Memorial Mass honoring Mrs. Blanca A.Cardona de Garcia,
will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Philip
Neri Catholic Church of Kinder. Bishop Glen John Provost will officiate.
Blanca passed away in Santa Barbara, Columbia on March 15, 2012.
Blanca was the mother of Father Carlos Garcia, pastor of St. Philip Neri Catholic
Church. She was a faithful Catholic and devoted mother of seven children. Her
love and dedication to her family was immeasurable. She had a great passion for plants and flowers and enjoyed traveling once her children were grown. She had been to the United States four times to visit her son, Fr. Carlos.
She is survived by five sons, Alvaro Garcia, Jairo Garcia, Enrique Garcia, Fr. Carlos Garcia, and Mario Garcia; one daughter, Gloria Garcia; ten grandchildren; and, six great grandchildren.
Blanca is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Joaquin Garcia; and one daughter, Martha Luz Garcia.
