Oakdale-Funeral service for Beverly Ann Johnson, 43, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at First United Pentecostal Church. Rev. Tim Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 311 Highway 1152, Oakdale, on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5-10 p.m. Visitation will continue at First United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Beverly was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She worked for nine years at the Pine Cone Restaurant in Pine Prairie. She also enjoyed shopping, especially with her dear friend, Darlene LaFleur. Beverly will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Beverly's memory include her parents, Robbie and Elizabeth Johnson of Oakdale; two brothers, Kenneth Johnson of Oberlin and David Johnson and wife, Amanda, of Magazine, AR; four sisters, Lillian Green of Oakdale, Brenda Cook and husband, Richie, of Mittie, Loretta Jones and husband, Kennis, and Bridgette Perkins and husband, Clinton, all of Oakdale; her good friend, Melvin "Tee" Dartez; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family would also like to thank Beverly's loving caregiver, Aunt Gloria. She was truly a "Godsend" to whom they are forever grateful.
