Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a 1954 Lacassine graduate and had won an academic scholarship to McNeese. Shortly afterwards, she began college at McNeese State University. She then married her husband, Harold, in 1957 and was a loving wife to him until his passing in 2019. She ran the domestic side of the Treme family ranch/farm and Treme and Son crop dusting service. Aside from that, she was also a bookkeeper for Shell Oil Company for many years. Betty was an incredible cook and baker. She enjoyed sewing, dancing and most of all, spending time with her family.
