Bennett Earl Baggett, affectionately called "Ben" by all who knew him, was a loving father, pawpaw, brother, and friend to all. He was most proud of his three sons, Isaiah, Marshall, and Owen. "Ben" was well known by many people in his community. He was self-employed for many years and was the owner of Baggett Fencing and Arrowhead Canoe Rental along the Whisky Chitto River. "Ben" enjoyed being with his family in his spare time. Often times you could find him on a trail ride, hosting festivals on his farm, and having cookouts by a campfire. "Ben" found joy in the simple ways of life. He had an infectious smile and laugh. "Ben" had an unwavering faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ and leaves behind a legacy of the life he lived. He will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish "Ben's" memory include his three sons, Isaiah, Marshall, and Christopher Owen Baggett; one stepson, Timothy Spears; one sister, Danita Sonnier and husband Billy; one brother-in-law, Mike Fuselier; two special grandchildren, Danielle McDaniel and Michelle Vercher; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
