Kinder-Funeral service will be held for Barry Langley, 49, on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2pm at Coushatta Multi-Purpose Complex on the Coushatta Reservation. Pastors Thomas Ben and Chris Harjo will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder beginning Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 6-9pm and will continue on Monday from 9am until time of service.
Barry never met a stranger. He loved talking with others, attending concerts, and traveling. He especially enjoyed taking part in the Indian Pow Wows. He served as the sound technician at L.I.F.E. Church of Kinder. He will always be known for running on Indian time or as everyone referred to it-"Barry Time". He loved cheese, Spam, and spaghetti!
Barry will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his survivors who include his three sisters, Regina Buffalohead, Marlene Langley, and Leah Harjo and husband, Chris all of Kinder; two nephews-Thunder John of Lake Charles and Hawk John of Kinder; two nieces-Jennifer Buffalohead and Hailey Guillory, both of Kinder; and one great nephew, Kaenyn Arnaud of Kinder.
