Kinder- Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Barbara Sue Demoruelle, 62, will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10AM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Evangeline Memorial Cemetery in Ville Platte under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder Tuesday from 5pm-9pm with a vigil service at 6:30PM and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Wednesday at 8AM until time of service.
Ms. Demoruelle was a resident of Kinder and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting and crocheting. Ms. Demoruelle passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in Fort Worth, TX.
Survivors include five children; Peter Demoruelle of Houston, Margaret Blubaugh & husband Dr. Michael Blubaugh of Walterboro, S.C., Madeline Oglesby & husband Dan of Houston, Evelyn Nordin & husband Kim of Houston, Elaine Jones & husband Jason of Houston; two brothers, Dana LaTour of Eunice & Robert LaTour of Ville Platte; three sisters, Sherry Fontenot of Fort Worth, TX, Veda Nicholas of Boston, MA, Janice Lienhart of Ville Platte; 12 grandchildren.
Ms. Demoruelle is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Demoruelle.
