Obituary

Oberlin-Funeral service for Barbara Ann Burns Hebert, 66, will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 10 am in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church of Oberlin. Deacon Norris
Chapman will officiate. Burial will follow in Deshotel Cemetery in Oakdale.
Visitation will be held Tuesday at New Beginnings Assembly of God Church
of Oberlin from 1 pm – 10 pm with a Vigil at 6:30 pm and a Rosary at 7 pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday at New Beginnings Assembly of God at 8 am until time of service.
Barbara was a resident of Oberlin. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Ladies Alter Society. She was very artistic. Barbara would
crochet, draw, paint, knit and sew. She liked to cook especially around holidays preparing her homemade candy and the best rice and gravy ever. She was loved by family and friends. We will miss you Ma-Ma.
She is survived by her son, Tony Hebert and wife, Regina of Oberlin; daughters, Paula Hebert of Oberlin and Pam Rider and husband, Joe of Mittie; brother, Tommy Burns and wife, Linda, of Glenmora and four grandchildren, Ashley, Devan, Shai and Jessica.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Simon Hebert, three infant daughters, and parents, Harold and Lela Mae Burns.
