Mittie-Funeral service for Mr. Austin J. Boudreaux, 81, will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Bro. Dale Gary and Bro. Ron Butler will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Palestine Cemetery in Grant under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Mittie, Friday from 1 pm – 10 pm and will continue Saturday at 8 am until time of services.
Mr. Boudreaux was a resident of Mittie, member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He loved Cajun Music, carpenter work and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline Boudreaux of Mittie; three daughters, Linda David and husband, Bob of Broussard, Faye Hollins and husband, Junior of Mittie and Dorothy Boudreaux John of Elton; one half brother, Percy Fontenot of Houston; two half sisters, Lorita Crochet and Delores Crochet both of Jennings; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Laurent and Evelise Cormier Boudreaux, one grandson, Jonathan Boudreaux, and two brothers, Loyd and Milton Boudreaux.
